What did the USC do?

22nd University Student Council (2018-2019)

  • The USC wrote a letter to ask for more student scholarships. Because of this letter, an extra 104.000 euros was made available.
  • A nota was sent to the University Board concerning the way the Binding Study Advice is currently implemented. The USC is working together with the University to make sure the proposed changes are implemented.
  • The USC started focus groups to gain insight in whether students feel pressure to do things besides their studies.
  • The USC is involved in the evaluation of flexibel studeren.
  • Together with the Radboud Honours Academy, a program was developed for student board members where they can learn skills relevant for their board years. The pilot will start at the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year.
  • Once again, the USC organised the Student Participation day, on which people on every faculty could submit ideas on how to improve the university or their faculty.
  • The USC has made a template for a mourning protocol for student organisations.
